This American Life is a weekly public radio show that partnered up with Harper High School in
Chicago where there were multiple school shootings every year. In this title sequence, l wanted
to portray a sense of what it means to live in the midst of all this gun violence. How teens and
adults navigate a world of funerals and Homecoming dances through the illustrations of the
actual students and teachers in the school coupled with the maps and news articles regarding
the shootings.
